EDC Las Vegas Lineup? UPDATE!!
The rumored lineup for EDC Las Vegas 2012 was announced on MTV this morning, and what a killer lineup it is. The festival this year takes place Friday June 8, Saturday June 9, and Sunday June 10, 2012. The first phase of the list has legends such as Tiesto, Benny Benassi, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, and Flux Pavilion. There’s also the crowd favorites of Avicii, Knife Party, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Afrojack, Kaskade, and Porter Robinson. Also included in the lineup release were Carl Cox, Calvin Harris, Richie Hawtin, Eric Morillo, Bassnectar, Above & Beyond, and Chase & Status.
Again, this is just the rumored lineup, and we haven’t seen anything official from Insomniac as of this morning. But if these guys are slated to play at EDC LV 2012, this is definitely heading in the right direction, with more artists hopefully to be named later.

UPDATE: Insomniac just announced a good chunk of the lineup through their website. This version includes big names like Alesso, Blue Man Group, Datsik, Nicky Romero, Tommy Trash, Green Velvet, Excision, Headhunterz, and R3hab.
Some general news Insomniac announced along with the lineup said that the European hardstyle of Q-Dance will be on display in a new stage devoted to that genre. A Bassrush stage will also be there, a takeoff of the event held on Thursday nights in Las Vegas.
With even more names announced this afternoon, all we can say is the festival attendees better be ready for an amazing time with some of the best DJ’s in the world.
