Skrillex – Right In (Stratus & Northie Remixes)
Skrillex’s hit track “Right In” from his Bangarang EP has been out for a while, and with the moombahton craze that’s going on right now, it was only a matter of time before someone remixed it to this new genre. I have two remixes today, one by Stratus, which is fairly recent, and another by Northie, which has been out for a while.
Stratus is mainly a dubstep producer who hails from Chicago. He is a part of Skrillex’s OWLSA record label and has released tracks such as “All For This” and a remix of Swedish House Mafia and Knife Party’s “Antidote”. Stratus ventures into moombahton with this “Right In” remix that has the slowed down beat that gives the song a different outlook that the original dubstep version.
Northie is an Australian producer who’s had success with his remixes of “Dirty Price” and “Doov”. He has received support from Calvin Harris, Ian Carey, and Armand Van Helden. He labeled this remix’s genre as moombahcore, and while it’s diferent than Stratus’, it brings another dimension to the original track.
