Slander – Wakanda, Slow Down, & Head Up (Remixes) [Free Download]

I happened to come across the duo of SLANDER while I was on Facebook a few hours ago. What’s better is that they are a couple of local guys who have been producing since 2010 and I can’t believe I haven’t heard of them until now. Derek Andersen and Scott Land make up the group who caught my eye with their trap remixes of some of the biggest tracks out there right now.

The Newport Beach duo give a fresh trap taste to Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s “Wakanda”, Showtek’s “Slow Down” and Arno Cost’s “Head Up”. While each of these songs are bangers in their own right, SLANDER’s versions give the tracks a little extra oomph. The guys list their influences as Baauer, Flosstradamus, RL Grime, TNGHT, and Diplo.

They have performed at some of the best clubs in Orange County and Los Angeles, such as Yost Theater, Sutra, Exchange LA, and Playhouse Hollywood. The sky’s the limit with these guys, as you will tell from listening to their tracks!
