12th Planet – July 10 (Sutra, Costa Mesa)
Tomorrow, July 10, 12th Planet will be invading Sutra in Costa Mesa for a night full of all things bass. John Dadzie is the man behind Smog, the well known event production company and record label that has created huge shows and some dirty tracks. He’s collaborated with some of the biggest producers of bass, such as Skrillex, Datsik, Doctor P, Skream, and Flinch. Opening for the main act will be Frisson, which consists of my friends Nevets and Queen of Electro. Considering this will be their third show that they have played together in, the sky is the limit for this intriguing duo. I took some shots of their last show on the main stage of Yost Theater last Friday (which will be posted this week) and they had the crowd going from start to finish with their choice of tunes and insane energy behind the decks.
The show is 21+ and doors open at 9pm. Tickets are available HERE for $15 which is crazy considering who you’re seeing. But you know what’s even better? Getting in for free! Just make sure you arrive by 10pm and say “Frisson 3X” at the door and admission is free!
