Vicetone – Lowdown (Original Mix)

The boys of Vicetone have done it again, this time creating a powerful and energetic progressive house tune. The Spinnin’ Records track was played on Steve Angello’s first BBC 1 Radio Show residency show which was met with high regard by fans around the world. Ruben den Boer and Victor Pool are the Dutch duo behind Vicetone who I seem to post a lot about, but for good reason. The talented pair recently created a 2013 End of Year Mix that has been played over 240,000 times that’s chock full of their original mixes, remixes, and mash ups.

This new single was preluded by a teaser that includes scenes from their shows leading up to the release. You can see how crazy it gets at one of their shows when Vicetone is in charge of the decks! After the intro, there’s a pounding bass line accompanied by a grinding melody. In the middle of the song is some guitar chords that give way to the melodic synth sound that the guys have become well known for.
