Dub Police 10: Ten Years of Dubstep
Dubstep record label Dub Police just celebrated their 10th year of operations yesterday and have released a 10 track compilation of significant tracks that have played a major part in their history. The London based company was formed in 2004 as a part of Submerged Music by Caspa and has seen releases from an array of artists, including label head Caspa, Antiserum, Doctor P, Emalkay, J:Kenzo, Rusko, Subscape, The Others, and Trolley Snatcha.
“Dub Police 10: Ten Years of Dubstep” includes tracks by Caspa, The Others, Subscape, and Emalkay, just to name a few. Caspa’s “For The Kids” (released in 2006) definitely took me back to the days when I first started listening to dubstep as a young basshead. Emalkay’s “Fabrication” (released in 2011) also brought me some old memories of going to underground warehouse shows in Los Angeles back in the day.
With some heavy beats and monster bass lines Dub Police has you set for the new year with 10 head exploding tracks. Congratulations to Dub Police on their 10 Year Anniversary, and here’s to many more!
