Galantis – Pharmacy (Album)
Though Galantis has only been around for a couple of years, Christian Karlsson (Bloodshy) and Linus Eklöw (Style of Eye) have been producing individually long before they met. Their upbeat and energetic progressive house sound has been picking up steam since their inception in 2012, and now we have their debut album “Pharmacy”. The album consists of 13 tracks, four of which were already released as singles, including the funky “Peanut Butter Jelly“.
The Big Beat Records release from the Swedish artists encompass plenty of piano driven melodies and powerful vocals. My favorite non single’s from the album are “Forever Tonight”, “In My Head”, and “Don’t Care”. Though the 13 tunes are predominantly progressive house, the guys stick to one thing and do it exceptionally well.
