Notixx - Tipping Point EP

Notixx manages to switch things up between the three tracks that comprise his new EP “Tipping Point, out now on Caspa’s Dub Police record label. New York artist Ryan Sinatra include “Space Stomp”, “Re Up”, and “Tipping Point” with GRIMEace in the set. To promote this new release, Notixx has decided to give away “The Darkside” for free!

Read on for more about the EP, his new duo project, and some favorite tracks.

Hey Notixx, how has 2015 been for you so far?

It’s been wonderful, I’ve spent a lot of time launching a new duo project, as well as working with Dub Police to get these songs out! Making plenty of other music as well! I’ve had the opportunity to travel and network a lot.

How did you get on board with Dub Police?

It all started with a bootleg remix I did of “Geordie Racer“.

Is there any foreshadowing with the name “Tipping Point” for your EP?

Hopefully! I would really like to think theres a certain point in my path where I will start to gain more traction as an artist. That might be years down the road, or it could be today! I’ll just keep making good music.

What’s the story behind Dusty Bits?

This is the duo I mentioned in the first response. I teamed up with my friend Jake Broffman to form Dusty Bits. We focus a bit more on the “clubby” dance side of electronic music. We have gained a lot of early support and I have enjoyed having a second outlet for sure! Hopefully you will hear that name more in the future! 😉

What do you hope to accomplish in 2016?

I have lots of plans. We will see what comes of them. I would like to hopefully land my first tour support with a larger act.

2015 summer anthem: That one is so impossible haha. Yogi – Burial (Moody Good Remix)

Best track to play at peak time: Another tough one huh? There’s a billion answers I could give but I’ll pick one from my homie. MUST DIE! – Lazy (Grabbitz Remix)

Unexpected remix to switch things up: I have an edit I did of Skrillex – Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites mashed up with Emalkay – Fabrication that i like to drop every now and then… It always gets a big response.

Vocalist you’d most like to work with: Tasha Baxter
