Claptone – Clapcast #50

Claptone just celebrated the 50th episode of his Clapcast podcast, featuring 11 songs from a wide variety of talented artists. The (still) masked Berliner brings plenty of house grooves to the table with tracks by Whitesquare, Super Flu, andhim, CamelPhat, and Prok & Fitch. Some of the record labels represented include Toolroom Trax, Suara, and Hed Kandi.

The German artist’s album “Charmer” was one of my favorite house LP’s last year and helped me dive into his music even more. His signature production style along with his ability to select tracks for Clapcast show his diverse and exceptional skills in both facets. Here’s to another 50 (and hopefully more!) episodes of Clapcast!
