Major Lazer & Showtek – Believer (Original Mix)

Major Lazer and Showtek’s collaboration “Believer” has been heard in each of their respective sets since the beginning of this year, but now we can finally get our hands on the track. The song combines Major Lazer’s dancehall roots with Showtek’s big room and trap vibes, making it ready for festival main stages worldwide. The tune was released from Showtek’s own Skink Records and Diplo’s label Mad Decent.

Showtek, consisting of brothers Sjoerd and Wouter Janssen, and Major Lazer, which includes Diplo, Jillionaire, and Walshy Fire, incorporate Jamaican vocal samples with a couple of monstrous breakdowns. The song is said to be from Major Lazer’s upcoming album “Music Is The Weapon”, though no official release date has been announced yet.

Hardwell, W&W, Nicky Romero, Tiesto, Blasterjaxx, R3hab, Firebeatz, Timmy Trumpet, and Morgan Page have all supported the track so far.
