marshmello’s debut track on OWSLA is one that he’s teased us with for the past few months during his The Ritual Tour that started in September. In “Ritual”, the soulful falsetto vocals of Los Angeles resident Wrabel blend seamlessly together with the throbbing synths and pulsating basslines. You might remember Stephen Wrabel’s name (or voice) from Afrojack’s 2014 song “Ten Feet Tall“, where the singer/songwriter also played the piano. The music video for “Ritual” also dropped last week and features appearances by OWSLA head Skrillex, Slushii, and Valentino Khan, which you can watch below.
W&W, Don Diablo, The Aston Shuffle, and Noah Neiman are some of the early supporters who have played the tune since the end of October.
