Sacha Robotti – Plant The Seed (Original Mix)
When Sacha Robotti moved from his hometown of Berlin to the bustling music locale of Los Angeles, the change in scenery was instrumental in inspiring his new song “Plant The Seed”, featuring R&B vocalist P.Keys. The song was first premiered during Pasquale Rotella’s Night Owl Radio 064 a few weeks back, where Robotti was chosen to select three Up All Night tracks.
In a preview for Insomniac Records, he said “It was produced on headphones, and the lyrics were recorded in my friend’s bedroom, as I didn’t have a studio at that time. P.Keys wrote the vocals on the fly, and we had fun turning this into a simple, dirty little jam with a low bassline, a weird siren melody, an ambiguous hook, and a big break.”
