Kav Verhouzer’s “Shot My Love Down featuring MODD is a great song to listen to as we wind the weekend down. The upbeat house track was released from Epic Amsterdam about a week ago. The Dutch producer was chosen as a Spotify Spotlight Artist of 2016 for the Netherlands, so there’s definitely no pressure there at all. His new song features the easy going and soulful vocals of MODD with the intricate guitar riffs of Jan Schröder and an expressive trumpet melody. The legendary Carl Cox even played the tune during his mix for Boiler Room, a huge accomplishment for the young producer.
