Avicii – Silhouettes ft. Salem Al Fakir (Lazy Rich, Syn Cole, & EDX Remixes)
I like Avicii. I like “Silhouettes”. And I like these remixes by Lazy Rich, Syn Cole, and EDX. I will admit, my iPod has a lot of Avicii in it, we kinda have a bromance thing going on. Anyways, these three remixes were just released today and they are killer.
First up is Lazy Rich, aka Richard Billis who is a Canadian producer and is not new to throwing down big tracks. This is probably my favorite remix out of the three, no offense to the other guys. But Lazy Rich just hammers this originally soft and melodic track with some hard hitting electro dirtiness that reminisce of Dada Life.
Next is Estonian Syn Cole, who was snatched up by Avicii’s LE7ELS record label. After listening to his remix, I can tell why. It stays true to the original, but he adds a pounding kick and uplifting synths.
Then there’s EDX, a Swiss whose real name is Maurizio Colella and has worked with some big names over the years. His version of the track is more bass heavy than the other two. The song sort of takes a turn away from the original, but come back to tie it all together.
