Uberjakd – Bomber / Bump Dat EP
Do you like being dirty? Do you like Dutch producers? If you answered yes to these questions…heck, even if you answered no…you NEED to check out Uberjakd’s “Bomber EP”. I have read a little about this guy before, but didn’t really think to check him out until now. And I can definitely see what I’ve been missing. As well as the title track “Bomber”, it includes “Bump Dat” with the EP, and both are chock full of Dutch house influences, complete with the high pitched synths and glitchy melodies.
Uberjakd, otherwise known as Ben Grzywacz, is from Australia, which is where Laidback Luke discovered him during Creamfields in Adelaide. This EP, released on Laidback Luke’s MixMash Records, goes the dirty Dutch route, cuz you know if it ain’t Dutch, it ain’t much! From the official EP release: “On the title track, a cascade of warped sirens, a growling bassline and a bouncy groove make for an insistent club anthem, meanwhile ‘Bump Dat’’s pulsing drum line and sawtooth synths keep things fluid and bumping.”
