Holy fish and chips, my socks have officially been blown off. Lets Be Friends is a duo from London (hence the fish and chips reference) who have been supported by some of the biggest names in the game today. When people like Steve Angello, W&W, Fedde Le Grand, Showtek, Dyro, and Lazy Rich are just some of the DJs that play your tunes, you know it’s a big deal.
“FTW” is the name of their release on Monstercat, and boy does it ever go for the win. During the intro, we are asked if we are ready. I assumed I was. I assumed wrong. Jonney and Oren create a banging electro house track that I feel blends the best from Knife Party, Skrillex, and Wolfgang Gartner. It’s just crazy balls to the wall madness that ensues with each drop!
