Thanks to my my man Sheevy, I recently found out about Matthew Nagle’s remix of “Dark Horse” by Katy Perry. I usually don’t listen to the radio that often, but during the past few weeks when I have it seems as if I hear this song every couple of hours. To freshen up the track for the club, the Latvian producer puts a spin on the tune that reminds me somewhat of Benny Benassi’s remix of “California Dreaming“. That type of pounding bass will get any club going strong, and when you add in that it’s a song that most people know, it equates to a perfect peak time track.

Matthew Nagle has worked with Ne-Yo and Marcel Woods in the past, in addition to releases on Spinnin’ Records, Musical Madness, and High Contrast. Supporters of the producer include Armin Van Buuren, Sander Van Doorn, Tiesto, and Paul Oakenfold.
