Taking it back a bit (since it is Throwback Thursday) to some old school sounds with an electro swing tune from Jamie Berry called “Peeping Tom”, featuring Rosie Harte. With Caravan Palace and Parov Stelar two of the big names out there in the genre, the UK producer is getting right up there with them in my opinion.
His bio on the Flak Records site states that he “has lived up to the genre’s ideals of fusing house beats to old swing, jazz and big band music”. One of the most interesting aspects of this song is that the vocalist is a UK bodybuilding champion and burlesque performer. That’s not a combination that you would see every day…
