The Prototypes with MC Dino & More – April 19th (Los Globos, Los Angeles)
Xcellerated is bringing UK drum and bass producers The Prototypes to Los Angeles on Saturday, April 19 for their first ever appearance in the city. The show takes place at Los Globos, which will have lyrical support from MC Dino, J-Tec, and Onyx MC. Also hitting the decks that night will be Replicant, Dip Vertigo, Drone, and Konkrete b2b Migat.
Brighton based producers Chris Garvey and Nick White, who released their “Pale Blue Dot/Lights” EP about 2 months ago, know a thing or two about throwing some dome heavy drum and bass tracks. And let me just say this about MC Dino: the man can spit game like nobody’s business. MC’s are really a hit or miss for me, but after seeing him in person a handful of times, as well as listening to DnB artists sets from EDC, Bassrush, Ultra, etc. that have him MC, I feel that he brings another element to the stage.
The show goes from 9pm till 3am and is 18+ to get in, 21+ to drink. Tickets are $15 online or $20 at the door, though there is the possibility of the price going up or even selling out as the date gets closer. The event will also have a Funktion One sound system for your listening pleasure.
