Kaj Melsen – Funkey (Original Mix)
The latest track from Fedde Le Grand’s imprint Flamingo Recordings is an electro house thriller by Kaj Melsen. Titled “Funkey”, the song kicks and grooves with its funky melody and pounding bassline. When the song slows down at about 2:22, it reminds me of C2C’s well known “Down the Road” with its catchy and feel good vibes.
The Dutch producer gained notoriety as a result of a remix contest held by Candyland for their track “Not Coming Down” featuring Zak Waters, where his progressive house version was chosen as the winner.
