deadmau5 – Some Chords (Dillon Francis Remix)
It’s only fitting that after posting about Lets Be Friends’ tribute to Dillon Francis “Pill On Francis” yesterday that we have a killer track from the man himself. This time, he remixes one of deadmau5’s most well known songs in “Some Chords” from the 2010 album “4×4=12“. The original mix had a hand in getting me started in dance music, and this remix livens it up a bit by spinning the four year old song into an aggressive tune with a driving beat.
The remix will be a part of Joel Zimmerman’s “5 years of mau5”, which will include old classics of his as well as fresh remixes of our favorites. The compilation will be out on November 24th from deadmau5’s own label, maustrap. Check out the track list below, with more to come later!
