OVERWERK – I Feel Better (ft. Nick Nikon) [Free Download]

Forty three days into 2015 and we have our first OVERWERK sighting of the year with his new song out now called “I Feel Better” featuring Nick Nikon. Overwerk, also known as Edmond Huszar, only released one original mix in 2014, and here we are about a month and a half into the year with a new song already. And let me tell you this: the wait was most definitely worth it. The dark and haunting tune is the Canadian producer’s reimagining of Hot Chip’s “I Feel Better” from 2010.

The mysterious vocals of Nikon combined with the pulsating synths and dramatic percussion work only add to the breathtaking song. In a 2014 interview with Insomniac.com, OVERWERK said that “with my music, I try to incorporate a diverse range of sounds that are not just accessible to the EDM scene, that are accessible to everyone, so they can kind of feel the vibe. Who doesn’t enjoy a movie soundtrack? Who doesn’t enjoy some Hans Zimmer or Danny Elfman? That music connects with you, no matter how old you are.” The London, Ontario native accomplishes that and more in this seven minute track.
