Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dogg – The Next Episode (Kamil Remix)

Funky fresh and ginormous grooves. That is exactly how I would describe Kamil’s remix of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s “The Next Episode”. The massive hit from 2000 receives a modern makeover over with a jazzy vibe due to its guitar and piano utilization. If this was just an instrumental version, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear this when you walk into the lobby of a snazzy hotel by the beach as you check in for a weekend of some good times.

I was surprised to see that Kamil is from Baku, Azerbaijan, and already has couple other disco inspired tracks on his Soundcloud. These remixes include Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot” featuring Pharrell, Disclosure’s “Latch” featuring Sam Smith, Naughty Boy’s “La La La” featuring Sam Smith, and Chromeo’s “Jealous“. With a handful of commendable remixes already under his belt, Kamil has definitely earned another follower on Soundcloud.
