Synergy – Synergy EP

Synergy is the long distance partnership between Mitra Xyde of Norway and Moritz Breit of Germany. Although 13.5 hours and 845 miles separate the two, this did not stop them from releasing their self titled “Synergy” EP. The songs were put out by Melbourne based Adapted Records, who won Best International Glitch Hop Label at the UK Glitch Hop Awards in 2012. Two glitch hop and four drum and bass tracks comprise the set: “Solaris”, “Synergy”, “Entropy”, and “Paradigm”, each with a different vibe.

“Solaris” is an upbeat and chill tune to listen and dance to no matter how you’re feeling. “Synergy” features some funky guitar riffs and impressive percussion work. “Entropy” is a bit darker and more energetic thanks to the heavy drums that are implemented. “Paradigm” has a mysterious and chaotic beat going on throughout that made me check over my shoulder a few times to make sure no one was creeping up on me!
