Curbi – Discharge (Original Mix)
Although British producer Curbi might just be 16 years old, that didn’t stop him from from getting noticed by Oliver Heldens and ultimately signing with Spinnin’ Records. His first original mix for their sublabel Spinnin’ Deep is called “Discharge” and is a unique blend of both future house and big room. The catchy groove and jumping basslines show the strong maturity of his work even at his young age. The song was also a part of the “Spinnin’ Records 2015 Future Hits” mix that showcased a bunch of new songs that have already come out or will be released this year.
Curbi has been tweeted at in support of his track by some impressive names, most recently including Darren Styles, Quintino, and Martin Solveig. Heck, even Jack U played the song during their 24 Hours of Jack U mix last week, and Avicii gave it some air time in the 32nd episode of his Le7els podcast. Other supporters include Daddy’s Groove, Moguai, Deniz Koyu, Tiesto, Pep & Rash, Lucky Date, Sander Van Doorn, Merk & Kremont, Chocolate Puma, Pete Tong, and many more.
