Chocolate Puma – I Could Be Wrong (Original Mix)
One of my favorite house duos in Chocolate Puma have released their next single, “I Could be Wrong” from Spinnin’ Records. The Dutch pair of Gaston Steenkist and René ter Horst are behind some grooving tracks such as “I Can’t Understand” with Firebeatz, “Step Back” with Kris Kiss, and “Afrika“. Chocolate Puma has been together since 1992 and show no complacency after all this time, as this tune full of strong piano chords and soulful vocals.
In regards to the track’s production, it amazing happened in just a few hours. In a recent interview, the guys stated that “It’s kind of a mystery why that happens sometimes, but guess inspiration struck, we started playing the piano, a bass line and threw in some old skool house beats, and boom, there it was […] The songs that don’t need much time to make are most of the time the best ones. Because when it instantly feels right, it is right.”
So far, the tune has been supported by Muzzaik, Sidney Samson, D.O.D., Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Lucky Date, Matisse & Sadko, Pep & Rash, Tommy Trash, Oliver Heldens, Tujamo, Bob Sinclar, Quintino, and much more. Be sure to check out the lyric video below too!
