Kid Kamillion – Somewhere (Jesse Slayter Remix)
After listening to this remix by Jesse Slayter, I definitely need to listen to more of him. The Louisiana native kills his version of Kid Kamillion’s “Somewhere” featuring Karen Waldrup. His rendition was included in the EP which also features remixes from M, and include the original and dub mix. You might remember his collaboration with Wuki last year called “That’s Right“, which first drew me towards his style of music.
This time around, Slayter infuses some laid back beats and integrates the vocals in a unique way. The release comes from Main Course, whose Soundcloud is full of distinctive and fresh tunes, many of which are available for free to download.
