HI-LO - Renegade Mastah (Original Mix)

Last month, Oliver Heldens revealed that he was in fact the producer behind the HI-LO name, and the announcement comes just in time for the second release from his alias titled “Renegade Mastah”. The song also has the distinction of being the first release from his very own label, Heldeep Records. The Dutch artist uses samples from the familiar vocals of Wildchild’s 1995 hit “Renegade Master“. The thick, rolling bass line and energetic grooviness will make anyone want to come out to the dance floor.

Support for the track has come from Wuki, Sander Van Doorn, The Partysquad, Thomas Newson, Gregori Klosman, Curbi, Moguai, Michale Woods, and Tchami. And that’s just some of the names in the past month alone!

[…] “Renegade Mastah” and “Ooh La La” by HI-LO, the alias of Oliver Heldens, have been two of my most played tracks over the past year. Next on the list for the Dutch producer is an outstanding remix of Moby’s 1990 song “Go”, a single from his debut self titled album. As we get into the swing of the summer festival season, there’s no doubt that Heldens’ remix will find its way into many DJ sets. The bassline driven tune with underground vibes give the original classic a breath of fresh air. […]
