GRiZ – Feelin’ High ft. Eric Bloom (Original Mix) [Free Download]
Free downloads are always a good thing, and GRiZ helps keep the good vibes flowing with “Feelin’ High”, featuring Eric Bloom. Detroit artist Grant Kwiecinski gives us a melodic, laid back piece that’s a great song to end the summer on a high note. It’s also worth noting that it’s a tribute to one of his favorite songs, “2000 Seasons” by Reflection Eternal.
The electro soul track uses his notorious saxophone sounds combined with a chill hip hop beat to complement it. The pristine drum work mixed with the soft female vocals wraps everything together in a smooth package. It’s a bit of jazz, R&B, and New Orleans lounge music fused as one, but in a way that only GRiZ can do.
The trumpet work of the New Orleans based Bloom is infused perfectly without overpowering the easy going track. On a side note, he’s also the trumpet player for Pretty Light’s live band! If you went a little too hard this Labor Day Weekend, throw this tune on repeat to decompress and get in the mood for work/school tomorrow.
