HI-LO – Ooh La La (Original Mix)
HI-LO’s “Ooh La La” was released last month back in December, but once I heard it again in a mix I was listening to, I had to write about it. HI-LO, or Oliver Heldens as you most probably know, is the alias of the Dutch producer. His first major hit under the alias was the very well received “Renegade Mastah“, the first release from his own Heldeep Records. “Ooh La La” is a gritty tech house tune with some tribal bass and underground vibes that focuses more on percussion.
The list of DJs who have played the track is rather extensive, including the likes of W&W, Hardwell, Axwell Λ Ingrosso, Curbi, Tiësto, Don Diablo, Knife Party, Firebeatz, Fedde Le Grand, Laidback Luke, EDX, Sander van Doorn, Dada Life, Quintino, Ummet Ozcan, Zeds Dead, Pep & Rash, and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano.
