Manila Killa takes on “Heat” by The Knocks featuring Sam Nelson Harris and puts his unique, upbeat spin on the Big Beat Records release. The 22 year old producer was born in the Philippines and is currently based in Washington, D.C. where he continues to grow his career. Chris Gavino has put his international experience to use by forming half of Hotel Garuda with Candle Weather, also known as Aseem Mangaokar, a friend he went to school with in Indonesia.

The song blends a few components of tropical house with trap elements, an interesting experiment that’s evident in previous songs from him.
