Max Styler & Colt Matthews – Heartache (Remixes)
Max Styler and Colt Matthews’ “Heartache” has just received three diverse remixes from a handful of talented producers. smle, MERCE, and Taku Nulight each put their own unique twist on the track, which was the title song from his debut album released in November last year. Both the album and remix package were released from Steve Aoki’s imprint Dim Mak Records.
Up first is Miami based live electronic production duo smle who give the song a future bass spin. The guys say that “Whether its our nostalgia-inducing remixes or the fresh innovative sounds of their original tunes, we can only justifiably be defined by its ethereal splendor and its ability to resonate with the auras of the human body.”
Next is Finnish producer MERCE, also known as Juha Vuorenalho, who throws some cinematic vibes and orchestral synths in his trap remix. He says that “His unique sound, forged during long Nordic winters, fuses elements of cinematic trap, UK bass, and soul.”
Last, but certainly not least, is United Kingdom based artist Taiki Nulight, whose real name is Erka Chinbayar. His seriously grooving bass house version is perfect to get the underground party started off right.
