Paolo Martini – Red Rocks (EP)
Paolo Martini has two new tracks out now called “Red Rocks” and “Le Fonque”. The Italian producer wraps a bit of funk, groove, and disco into the house songs. The old school tunes were released from Emerald City, the record label ran by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss. The 30 year veteran shows no signs of slowing down, as he a string of releases geared up under his new solo project.
“I wanted to give these tracks a funky, disco feel, so I searched deep in my vinyl collection. I started by working minutely on a couples of samples and from that point onwards the construction of the tracks took place in a completely natural way. I tried to fit the rhythmic sections in the right places to transfer people back to the magical mood of that era.”
