Eli Brown – Sumatra EP
They say there’s three things you can always count on in life: death, taxes, and Toolroom Records. I might have made that last one up, but I’d vote for the United Kingdom record label based off of the quality releases they always put out time after time. Bristol based producer Eli Brown adds his name to the ever growing list with his EP “Sumatra” released through Mark Knight’s respected imprint, which also includes “Eastern Jam”. Having started in the drum and bass scene, his impressive talent along with the exemplary percussion work and grooving basslines are evident in these two tech house tunes.
“Sumatra” has been supported by Kryder, Gorgon City, Roger Sanchez, Leandro Da Silva, Lumberjack, David Tort, Moguai, Franky Rizardo, and Pasquale Rotella on Night Owl Radio 117.
