The Chainsmokers – Sick Boy (Original Mix)
Earlier today, the first release of 2018 from The Chainsmokers titled “Sick Boy” was released. The song also features noted Australian drummer Matt McGuire, who accompanied Drew Taggart and Alex Pall on their 2017 “Memories: Do Not Open” tour in support of their debut album of the same name.
Dark piano chords played by Pall and the emotionally charged vocals of Taggart are the backbone of this song. The crisp percussion of McGuire combined with the duos production work and vocals make this The Chainsmokers’ most somber tune yet.
The track from Disruptor Records/Columbia Records also comes with an impressive music video which was directed by Brewer (see below).
