SLANDER – Happy Now (Original Mix)
SLANDER’s latest track “Happy Now” might sound familiar to you, and for good reason. Bass music maestros Derek Andersen and Scott Land have been playing the mix since the middle of 2016 at various festivals around the world. What originally started as a collaboration with San Holo two years ago grew to a SLANDER solo release from Monstercat as their musical styles grew apart. The Los Angeles based duo found a vocal that fit perfectly with their softer side for this updated version and put it out through the Canadian record label.
Tomorrowland in Belgium, Miami Music Week, Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Sunset Music Festival in BLANK, EDC Las Vegas, Parookaville in Germany, Lollapalooza in Chicago, Escape: Psycho Circus in San Bernardino, EDC Orlando, EDC Mexico, and a handful of episodes of their radio show Gud Vibrations with NGHTMRE.
Here’s what San Holo had to say about the new tune: “I really enjoyed starting this song with the guys but as the idea evolved it began to sound more like a Slander record than a San Holo record to me, so I am excited to see the guys finally put this out with Monstercat!”
