Alex Preston – Get It Started EP

Alex Preston is back with an addictive EP out now titled “Get It Started”. Blending bits of tech house and disco, the Australian producer also uses guitar, bass, percussion, piano, and trumpet. The four track EP was released through his own record label Basement Sound. It consists of four well crafted tunes: “Get It Started”, “That’s How I Feel”, “Around”, and “Take It Easy”.

Here’s what Preston has to say about his new direction: “I wanted to make a new style of house music that I could play live for people. I want it to have a balance between live, sometimes improvised guitar, bass & percussion; and pumping dance-floor house.”
