Ace Ventura – Psychedelic Awakening (Compilation Album)

Ace Ventura has put together 11 electrifying psytrance tunes for his new compilation album “Psychedelic Awakening”. The Swiss native released the set from Future Music Records, a sublabel of famed psytrance imprint Iboga Records. In the album, Yoni Oshrat includes tracks by Astrix, Outsiders and Vertical Mode, Altruism, Fungus Funk, Virtual Light, Alpha Portal and Burn In Noise, Module Virus, Tristan, GLO, Symbolic and WAIO, and Ace Ventura and Magik.

A few favorites of mine from the album are “Sahara” by Astrix, Module Virus’ remix of “Going Back”, GLO’s remix of “Mr Larm”, and “Cyber Space” by Symbolic and WAIO.

“This compilation was born after a process that stated when I decided to make time for the dancefloor when I came to play in festivals, because this was the thing that really got me into this music and the hectic tour, studio and family life kept me away from. This got me re-connected to different sounds than the ones I was exposed to as a touring DJ and musician. Hope you enjoy the mix and the psychedelic awakening.”
