Boombox Cartel – NBD (Remixes)
Near the beginning of June, Jorge Medina and Americo Garcia of Boombox Cartel put out their bass heavy tune “NBD“. Just a few weeks later and we already have a remix package with outstanding versions from ATLiens, Dyro, Hekler, and Phelgmatic Dogs.
ATLiens (who are from…you guessed it, Atlanta) create a monstrous bass heavy remix with dark basslines and wonky beats. Dutch artist Dyro, also known as Jordy van Egmond, gives us a bass house version that will heat up the dance floor from start to finish.
The remix from Las Vegas native Hekler, whose real name is Shaun Bacus, is all sorts of weird that I can’t event explain (in a good way!). Moscow based duo Dima Demian and Slava Frenkie make up Phlegmatic Dogs, whose remix uses ominous bass and tight percussion throughout.
