CID & Vinne – Take Your Place (Original Mix)

On July 25, 2018 by ocedm

If you’re looking for that next dance floor weapon, look no further than CID and Vinne’s “Take Your Place”. The song blends a bit of tech and bass house, with stuttering beats and pitched down vocals. New York native Carlos Cid has already made quite a name for himself, with a Grammy award for Best Remixed Recording for his work on Cedric Gervais’ remix of Lana Del Ray’s “Summertime Sadness“, multiple festival appearances around the world, and support from recognized DJs like Tiesto, Oliver Heldens, Galantis, and Don Diablo. On his way up is nineteen year old artist Vinne, who was the youngest Brazilian DJ to play mainstage at Ultra Brazil last year.

CID says that “VINNE was one of the first producers I heard when I was introduced to the Brazilian Bass sound. We met last spring when I was on tour in Brazil and soon after, we started working on Take Your Place It’s a dance floor weapon that has been getting amazing reactions everywhere I play it.”

Tiesto, Oliver Heldens, Don Diablo, Nicky Romero, Dannic, Blasterjaxx, Afrojack, R3hab, Yves V, Jay Hardway, Firebeatz, Swanky Tunes, Matisse & Sadko, Tritonal, Kryder, Futuristic Polar Bears, Morgan Page, and Borgeous have all played the tune.
