mau5trap x Day Trip – September 9 (Academy, Los Angeles)
This Sunday, September 9th, mau5trap will be taking over Day Trip at Academy in Los Angeles. Scheduled to perform that day are Anakim, ATTLAS, i_o, Monstergetdown, No Mana, Spencer Brown, and a secret special guest. The event will run from 2pm to sunset on the outside patio at Academy.
Anakim’s impressive “Heightened Sensitivity” was Insomniac’s track of the day on August 28th and will be out later this month. ATTLAS performed on the mau5trap stage at Electric Forest earlier this summer and laid down a phenomenal progressive house mix, and their remix of “Streamline” by Pendulum was included in the remix album “The Reworks”. Rising artist i_o has quickly become one of my favorite up and coming producers with tracks like “Not Techno” and his “SCRIPTKIDDI” EP.
Monstergetdown recently worked with Rhyno on an enigmatic remix of “Desert Fire” by BlackGummy. No Mana has produced some fire tunes of his own, with his “11UP” EP and his “Game Over” EP a couple of my favorites. Spencer Brown just had his debut on mau5trap with “Windows 95 on Acid” and “Does Anybody Really Know What Time Is?“.
Tickets are currently at $20 for the 21+ event.
