Conrank & Dirt Monkey – Level 8 (Original Mix)
Conrank and Dirt Monkey’s “Level 8” is the second video game inspired track I’ve heard in the past week or so (the first being Chime’s “Evolve” EP). The bass filled tune was released from Doctor P and Flux Pavilion’s renowned London based label Circus Records. United Kingdom native and now Los Angeles resident Diccon Mayfield has been a familiar face on the imprint, while this marks the debut for Colorado native Patrick Megeath.
Both guys have had a big year, with Conrank recently putting out a remix of The Prodigy’s “Timebomb Zone” and Dirt Monkey putting his spin on “Boss” by AFK and Carbin featuring Cody Ray.
