Betical – Surrender (Original Mix)
Betical is certainly one of the artists you need to keep an eye on as we start 2019. Their latest track called “Surrender” was released last week on Unity Records. Brothers Max and Martin Hoet have been influenced by the sounds of Daft Punk, Saint Germain, Demon, Justice, Digitalism, MSTRKRFT, and Phoenix, of which their Betical name comes from the band’s 2004 album “Alphabetical”.
The French duo use soaring melodies and strong piano chords with punchy percussion in the song from the Paris based record label. Betical first picked up steam a few years ago with their remix of Kungs Vs. Cookin’ On 3 Burners’ “This Girl“, which has over 500,000 plays on Soundcloud alone.
