JOYRYDE – IM GONE (Original Mix)
JOYRYDE was silent for the most part of 2018, save for “AGEN WIDA” with Skrillex in October and a fundraiser show in November for the Los Angeles Fire Department, Humane Society of Ventura County, and victims of the Los Angeles County and Ventura County fires. John Ford has now released the first single from his upcoming album “BRAVE” titled “IM GONE”, which was postponed from its original November release date.
The energetic and bouncy tune was released through HARD Recs, which was launched last August before HARD Summer with a compilation album, which included songs from Dillon Francis, Getter, Valentino Khan, Bear Grills, k?d, Zeds Dead and Jauz, SAYMYNAME, Party Favor and Baauer, Manila Killa, and Sullivan King. The new track from the innovative United Kingdom native uses his signature bass house stylings with sirens, horns, and rippling gunshots right before the drop. The middle of the tune features orchestral samples and classical piano, after which a heavy trap beat and female rap vocals take over before dropping back into all sorts of madness.
From JOYRYDE: “releasing this record means everything to me. its the first record from my album BRAVE coming this year. many of you know already, i had a surgery 1 year ago and the pain pills made me almost loose reality, I wrote a lot of this record in that period. some parts I don’t even remember making. but this song and the album pulled me back. I dont know what this record is or what its supposed to be, but I hope you find it refreshing and the album to follow. thank you for all your support.”

JOYRYDE played the song at HARD Summer and Escape: Psycho Circus last year, with recent support from Alison Wonderland on Radio Wonderland 094 and San Holo on Night Owl Radio 183.
