ilan Bluestone ft. EL Waves – Mama Africa (Original Mix)
Ahead of the May 3rd landing of his “We Are The Universe” EP, Ilan Bluestone has released “Mama Africa” featuring Ghanian vocalist EL Waves. Singer Elizabeth Osei is no stranger to the trance world, previously collaborating with Bluestone and Maor Levi on “Will We Remain?” and with Levi again on “4U“. The track from British record label Anjunabeats currently sits at the number 4 spot on the Beatport Top 10 Trance chart.
Last April, the London based artist released his 15 track debut album “Scars“, which included collaborations with Giuseppe De Luca, Sunny Lax, and Koven. Bluestone will be part of the Anjunabeats North American Tour 2019 starting at the end of March, which includes a stop at the Hollywood Palladium on Saturday, May 4, the day after the release of his “We Are The Universe” EP.
EL Waves explains how the track draws heavily from her cultural roots, as she says “This is a song of love and blessing for my Mother, Father and Loved ones. In Akan culture we recognise the sacrifices that each individual makes to raising children of the next generation, passing down the wisdom’s from the old into the new, so sending out blessings is something we do to show love and appreciation and to say thank you.”
