Axwell – Axtone Approved

Axwell has started a new series titled Axtone Approved, with the first episode released last week. The hour long mix features tracks from Gerd Janson, Marcus Schossow, Shiba San and Tim Baresko, Eddie Thoneick, Illyus & Barrientos, Chocolate Puma and Carta, Daddy’s Groove, D.O.D., and more. Of course, you know Axwel Hedfors had to include a couple Swedish House Mafia tracks in some way, like his edit of “Greyhound” vs Joris Voorn’s “Goodbye Fly” and a Magic Island Rework by Daddy’s Groove of “Leave The World Behind“, which was not released under the SHM name but as Axwell, Ingrosso, Angello with Laidback Luke featuring Deborah Cox in April 2009 (10 year anniversary next month!).

Axwell says that “I made this mix so that you could listen to it at 9am going to work or at 3am after a night out and it would fit either way. Those types of mixes have always been my favorite. Enjoy!”
