Lucii – Neptune (Original Mix) [Free Download]

Lucii first popped up on my radar a few months ago when I heard her self titled genre ‘space bass’ track “Invade“, which has picked up over 84,000 plays on Soundcloud in five months. A few weeks ago, the Orlando based artist released “Neptune” for free as her debut on Liquid Stranger’s label Wakaan. In that time frame, the dreamy and captivating bass tune (which uses her own vocals) has already seen 62,000 plays on Soundcloud.

Earlier this year, Emily Rose joined Liquid Stranger on his Infinity Tour with Champagne Drip and G-REX. Lucii might have just started her career in 2017, but with recent songs like “Invade” and “Neptune”, it looks like the sky (or space) is the limit!

She shares that “Neptune is about my personal struggle with feeling really alone. It was written to try and work myself out of a dark place. Many people battle with depression and don’t know how to rid themselves of their demons. For me- the best way to cleanse myself is to write and because of my love for space – the idea that being left on a planet away from everyone seemed like a far enough distance away to get my point across. I think its important to acknowledge our dark side and allow ourselves to work through the pain in a healthy way.”
