Dog Blood – Turn Off The Lights (Malixe Edit) [Free Download]
One of my favorite EP’s of the year is definitely “Turn Off The Lights” from Dog Blood. Since its release in May, it would only be a matter of time before there would be a bunch of remixes of the four track set coming in hot. One of the first versions that caught my attention was Malixe’s pummeling edit of the title track “Turn Off The Lights”, which is available as a free download.
Michael Chicas throws down some dark and heavy techno beats over the original with the vocals still intact. The Los Angeles native/Utah based artist also has a version of Dog Blood’s “Break Law” with Motoko that has been played out live but is still unreleased. Listening to these two tracks earned a follow of Malixe from me!
