Fedde Le Grand – Skank (Original Mix)
Fedde Le Grand brings us back to the rave days (or nights, I guess) of the early 90’s with his latest track called “Skank”. The lyrics in the song were originally from “Walk & Skank” by Jah Screechy in 1984 before a remix by SL2 in 1992 blew it up even further. The Dutch artist brings back “original vocalist Jah Screechy to set the scene with his soulful reggae-tinged vocal piece paired with a down-tempo instrumental arrangement.” The release from his label Darklight Recordings comes just in time for a number his upcoming festival sets.
Laidback Luke, Kryder, Dannic, W&W, R3hab, Swanky Tunes, Firebeatz, Madison Mars, Jay Hardway, and Zonderling have all played the tune so far.
