Sub Focus – Solar System / Siren
Legendary drum and bass artist Sub Focus is back at again with a double release of “Solar System” and “Siren”. The British DJ and producer is one of my favorite dnb artists, with tracks like “Falling Down” featuring Kenzie May, “Out The Blue” featuring Alice Gold, “X-Ray“, “Tidal Wave” featuring Alpines, a remix of “Hold On” by Rusko featuring Amber Coffman, “Rock It“, and “Timewarp“ among my personal favorites.
Nick Douwma shows us two realms of the drum and bass spectrum, with “Solar System” a perfect tune to take a late night drive to, while “Siren” hits a bit harder for the club sets. So far this summer, Sub Focus has played at EDC Las Vegas, Dour Festival in Belgium, Glastonbury (3 sets across the weekend) and BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in the United Kingdom (where he performed a B2B2B set with Dimension and Wilkinson), Untold Festival in Romania, Let It Roll in Czech Republic, and has continued his residency at Amnesia, Ibiza.
SLANDER and NGHTMRE, Wilkinson, Annie Mac, Danny Howard, Culture Shock, The Prototypes, Grafix, Cyantific, and Holy Goof have all supported the songs so far.
